I had an HR interview. I'm working as a freelancer while looking for a job. I received a call and as soon as I mentioned that I have an ongoing project but it's a short term one and I'm available to start in a week maximum. The recruiter hung up in a rude way. They should know that candidates who are proactive and keep themselves engaged with freelance or temporary work while searching for a full-time role are often demonstrating qualities that many companies value—such as responsibility, resilience, and adaptability. It shows that the candidate is willing to stay productive, develop skills, and continue building experience instead of staying idle. These qualities can make a candidate stand out as motivated and committed to professional growth. It's the worst interview I had in my life.
