Wasted a lot of time just to eventually get ghosted. I had what I thought were a few rounds with the recruiter and a few consultants which I would like to believe was very positive between Nov and Dec. After not hearing from them for almost 3 weeks because they were on Christmas break, the recruiter reached out to me in mid Jan saying that they would like to extend an offer, we discussed salary and other terms and he said he would be in touch. Only I never heard from him again. If you decide to go for another candidate for whatever reason, that's fine, but at least inform other candidates instead of ghosting them.
