First step was phone screen through recruiter. Very enjoyable conversation about the company and projects (including one I’d be working on and various others). Second was a technical phone interview. Standard coding remote coding challenge but unlike many other technical interviews, the interviewer clearly stated to use any information online (like how you work normally). Was given enough time to ask questions about the company. Interviewer was very thorough in answering all my questions and was very transparent about the role. Finally, an onsite 4 hour interview with 5 different people, most of which I would be directly working with. First interview was with split in half, 30 mins with direct manager and 30 mins with director. Both were very thorough in explaining the company business and answering any questions I had. The next three interviews were a combination of UI/UX and JS/React questions. Not too challenging, I got the sense the interviewers were more focused on the interviewee’s attitude and thought process. Although I was not very strong at UI/UX, the interviewers made me feel very comfortable and made it clear they were more concerned about good learning attitude and room for growth. Any nerves I had at the beginning of the interview were completely gone by the second hour and the interviewers were great at making me feel very comfortable. Decision was made very quickly and an offer was giving the next day. The interview process was very smooth and enjoyable thanks to the main recruiter Andrea. She was very prompt her responses and open about each step of the process. Keep up the good work!
