A recruiter sent me an email saying she came across my resume from another role I applied for. She gave me a list of open positions she was recruiting for (8 total) and told me to look at the reqs online and let her know 2 or 3 that I was interested in, which I did. A colleague of hers set up the interviews.
I met with 9 people all in one day (two different roles). For the role I accepted: I met with someone who would be my colleague, the hiring manager, two of his peers, the hiring manager's manager, and another director. Questions were all based around my resume and my experiences. They all allowed time for me to ask questions, and were engaging in their dialogue.
I personally am a believer in sending thank you notes right after interviewers. In this case, I heard back from quite a few of the people I met with, which is unusual.
I also reviewed a few "congrats" notes from people I interviewed with after I accepted the offer.
I've listed the two 'situational' questions I was asked in the Q section.
