      Business Analyst Interview

      Picayune, MS
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chevron (Picayune, MS) in Jul 2011

      Interview

Someone from Chevron HRs in San Francisco called me for an interview for the business analyst position in Mississippi. She scheduled a panel interview for me at the Chevron Facility in Picayune; MS. Everything was nice and efficient. The one hour long interview was mostly "tell me about a situation" type. At the end of the interview the facility manager asked me to contact him if I don't hear anything back from them in two weeks. I called and left a message after two weeks. Didn't hear anything. After waiting another weeks I sent an email to the facility manager. No response. Today, after five weeks from the interview, I contacted to the HRs lady in San Francisco and learned that they hired an internal candidate.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chevron (Houston, TX)

      Interview

Started with a building tour of the downtown Houston location after checking in with security. Did not have to wait long to meet with liaison. A large room full of people. Largest panel for an interview I've ever encountered. At least 8 people which was very intimidating. Discussed my experience and resume first. People took notes. Then the first panel speaker presented a work scenario. Others chimed in to clarify the scenario and but it was hard to categorize the scenario in order to answer.

      Question 1

Presented a work scenario and asked what steps I would take to resolve.
