Fairly fast — recruiter contacted me two weeks after cold applying. He was super personable and nice, very clear and to the point with what the hiring team was looking for. Seemed like the interview process would have been fairly easy; one recruiter screening, meeting with the Director of Demand Gen, then I believe it would have been 2 more interviews after that but I didn’t get pass the first round which to be fair is completely understandable. Was not my best work and the questions were actually quite standard. However, what really disappointed about this brand is after I didn’t get pass the first round of interviews both the recruiter and Demand Gen Director completely ghosted my follow up emails; I had to find out that I didn’t get the role through the career dashboard. I understand that there is this almost expectation that one will get ghosted especially in this highly competitive market; but, WE SHOULD NOT NORMALIZE THIS. I’m calling out Coach for their lack of communication and can’t help but feel this is indicative of their toxic company culture that so many workers have complained about in this very platform. At the very end, I learned a couple of lessons which I’ll be grateful for during this experience: 1) be confident in your skillset 2) every rejection is a redirection
