I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Collingwood Insurance Services (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in May 2023
Interview
An interview with two members of staff who asked questions based around the company values. Then a short role play phone call to test ability to use phone and computer at the same time.

Question 1
Can you provide a time when you did not agree with a rule or regulation in the work place
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Collingwood Insurance Services
Interview
Had a document sent to assess a half-relevant skill. Went for an interview with 3 people from different departments. Swept over the skills and experience because they said they'd provide the relevant training and didn't expect you to have it being a graduate scheme. Seened like they were looking for the right type of person to fit in, not so much one that had the skills. Response was that I didn't talk about having experience with a numerical checking method, which I said I'd not had to use before with not doing a numerical based degree. Bit of a disconnect with what they say they want but if someone had that, maybe they'd be alright. Did feel out of place with everyone in casual dress in the office and me in business dress, but I guess that's interviews.

Question 1
What motivates you, greatest weakness/strength, time you dealt with a difficult person, time you had to prioritise, how do you learn, how do you communicate, what's your level of SQL, how do you check your work? Mainly ordinary competency questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Collingwood Insurance Services (North Shields, England) in Jul 2019
Interview
Contacted HR via email having seen role advertised on facebook and seen numerous job adverts through various channels. Got a swift reply by email and invite to interview. Interview involved a presentation of a 30/60/90 day play for introduction to the job then general and competency based questions. It was only when asking my questions at the end of the interview they discovered that I hadn't been given the job brief and supporting documents. Annoying as I had specifically asked HR if there was anything more I needed pre-interview and been told no - any questions could be asked at interview. I was advised I wouldn't hear the outcome the following week but soon after. Emailed a month later and was told that they were still in the recruitment process but that I would definitely be told either way. Emailed a few weeks later to ask if the role had closed ( assuming it had ) and never got the courtesy of a reply. I've waited 2 months before offering any feedback just in case but all in all a very unsatisfactory experience from a company I had high hopes for.
