I am going to give my feedback on the interview and absolutely awful hiring process of this company. I found this job posting through a mutual on Linkedin and had messaged them asking if the job is still available. At the time, I was only able to do hybrid due to me living in a different city and had asked if that would be an option. The person I messaged said definitely as a lot of people, including themselves, are hybrid.
So I sent in my resume, with my current city, and applied for the posting. I went through the initial e-interview with HR and was very sweet. I got a second e-interview option with HR and someone else who worked at the company. That interview went very well as well and they were very respectful and responsive. They also said hybrid may be an option since many people work hybrid.
Finally, I had my last e-interview with upper management. And I have never felt more disrespected and humiliated in my entire life. The interview was consistent racist, sexist and passive aggressive remarks. I wish I recorded it. People could hear them raising their voice at me from the other room and was about to come out and talk to them but the interview had finished by then. They made fun of me for even thinking that I would have the chance to work here, since I didn’t have experience (this was an entry level position with no mention of needing experience; and the person who referred me working there had less experience than me and was in a higher level position and we did the same degree from the same school). Additionally, if I wasn’t qualified, I should have never been given the opportunity to do 3 interviews in the first place. They then started questioning and asking for proof when I mentioned my qualifications (e.g, certifications). They also mocked me for putting my city in the resume and thinking i would be allowed to do hybrid. The final ball was the completely disrespectful and illegal question they asked was; which religious institution I attended. When I replied, they said “thank god you don’t belong to xx community”, with a weird racist undertone. I have never felt more insulted in my life, and would highly advise against working here.
Two rounds of interviews. First round with hiring manager with basic behavior questions. Second round with team members with slightly more technical questions related to position. Did not receive offer and job was reposted shortly after.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about a time you made a mistake and what did you learn.
Interview was very basic on no hard questions, more of a conversation, technical questions didn't come in first interview, second interview was a bit more technical on what the job entails
