Initially, it was agreed that the first interview would be conducted onsite at Deftpower's offices in Arnhem. I dedicated a significant portion of my day to travel to the location, investing both time and money into the process. Upon arrival, I had a productive discussion with the CTO, who provided valuable insights into the project. Despite my enthusiasm and the effort I invested in preparing for and attending the interview, what followed was disheartening. Following the interview, there was a complete lack of communication from Deftpower's end. Weeks passed without any updates or feedback on the status of my application. This prolonged silence was not only frustrating but also reflected poorly on Deftpower's professionalism and respect for candidates' time. As someone genuinely interested in the opportunity, I expected at the very least a courteous follow-up, even if it was to convey a decision or provide feedback. It is disheartening to see a company neglect such a fundamental aspect of the hiring process – clear and timely communication with candidates. Effective communication not only reflects positively on the company's image but also fosters trust and respect between both parties involved. In conclusion, my experience with Deftpower's recruitment process was marked by disappointment due to the lack of follow-up and communication. I hope that this feedback prompts the company to reevaluate its approach and prioritize respectful and transparent communication with future candidates.

Following this, I was informed that they would be in touch the following day. Unfortunately, I never received any further communication. Being left in the dark without any acknowledgment of the effort I had put in was disappointing, even after requesting feedback. I understand that not every interview process will result in an offer, but I believe that all candidates deserve basic respect and communication, regardless of the outcome. It was disheartening to be ghosted after investing time and energy into the interview process. I hope that Deftpower will consider improving their communication practices to ensure a more positive experience for future candidates.
