I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
I ever seen this kind of worst interview process in my 8 years experience. I got call and they took all the basic details , as I already have other offer I said the offer amount and they agreed. So I went to interview that Saturday and reached Deloitte at 10 am , in security gate we have big queue it took half an hour to collect temp id card and then I entered inside. I was waiting for fist round of from 10:30 am finally I got call at 1pm and it went half an hour and they asked me to wait out side and after half an hour one lady came and asked to wait for second round . Finally I got call at 4 pm for second round and it went 30 to 40 min and they told you are selected for second round you have final round please wait for it so I thought as its manager round it might not take much time so I was waiting till 7:00 pm . Every one left including recruitment team except 5 candidates who are selected for manager round and couple of HR department members. Around 7 pm HR came and she told like we don't have panels available please leave for the day we will call on Tuesday so left with some disappointment. I got call on Tuesday and had manager round it went half an hour and got selected . HR department asked for documents and I sent the docs same day. she said I'll get HR discussion call on Monday 7 pm , I was waiting for her call on Monday and I didn't got any call so I sent mail to her she said appolagies will call you tomorrow 2:00pm , again I was waiting Tuesday no call and I sent mail , she said we are in to ad-hoc meetings will call you some time. Finally I got call on Wednesday night around 9:00 pm and he started negotiate , finally I said as I already have this much offer I asked them to at least match it but he said we don't have that much budget and saying will give Max this much which is equal to my current package I said no and dropped. As I said before attending interview only I said my expectations which they agree but finally said no. I totally disappointed
