Slow to respond. Ultimately seemed less put together than other firms. Will likely be replaced by AI. Apparently competitive process, for some reason. Also conservative leaning. Probably worth a shot applying but I hear bad things about the culture.
I had a phone interview followed by a skills assessment. The phone call was impersonal and brief. I was asked to find compromising information on climate activists, which indicates company ethics.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Delve (DC)
Interview
One of the worst interview experiences in my entire professional career. I attempted to apply twice (two separate years with connections to the company):
They force you to do in depth opposition research packages for them, and from what I remember they give you a day. Both times I have been ghosted, and the IN DEPTH research I gave them was basically lost to time. You’re basically interviewing to give them free labor.
Again, I was connected to two separate employees at this company. Both enthusiastically were supportive of my application, and both of them ghosted me along with whoever was looking at my application.
Forcing someone to give you hours of your labor, without any pay or AT LEAST a response, is both unprofessional but it leads me to believe this place is a scam. They probably only hire people they are already close friends with. Do not waste your time. If you want to get into opposition research, apply somewhere else.

Question 1
They asked me to create a mock profile on two separate big name politicians.
