I once had an interview that didn’t go the way I expected, but it turned out to be a great learning experience.
It was a panel interview with three managers. At first, I felt confident because I had prepared answers for common behavioral questions. But about halfway through, they asked me a technical question I hadn’t anticipated. I froze for a few seconds, which felt much longer than it probably was.
