I do not recommend working or interviewing at DigiSay if you are Muslim. Based on my personal experience, I believe I was rejected because of my religious appearance and behavior during the interviews. I am bearded, I lower my gaze out of religious respect, and I greet people with “Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.”
The process took 3 weeks.
I had a generally positive experience interviewing with DigiSay. The interview process was well-structured and consisted of multiple steps that tested both technical and communication skills.
The first step was an HR call, which was smooth and friendly, focusing on my background and general fit.
The second step was a technical task that involved building a fairly complex full-stack Task Manager application. The task covered both frontend and backend aspects, including authentication, data analysis, tables, and overall application structure. It was challenging but realistic and reflected real-world requirements.
The third step was a technical interview, which mainly focused on Python and React. The discussion was technical yet pleasant, and the interviewers were respectful and engaging.
After that, there was a video HR interview that felt more like an open conversation, discussing career goals, reasons for considering a move, and why DigiSay could be a good fit.
Although I eventually received a rejection email, I still appreciate the effort and professionalism throughout the process. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience and a technically solid interview journey.
Pros:
- Clear and structured interview process
- Challenging and practical technical task
- Professional and friendly interviewers
- Good balance between technical and HR discussions
Cons:
- The technical task may be time-consuming for some candidates
- Feedback after rejection could be more detailed
