Not the most time consuming interview process, but I found the entire situation to be odd and unorganized. First, the interviewer didn’t have their camera on which I felt was pretty unprofessional. I then completed an exercise for them (which was paid at least, but with a limit on the maximum number of hours) and it took weeks for them to get back to me once I submitted it. After that, they told me they were pausing on the role but asked if I’d be interested in freelancing in the future. I saw the job posting up again a few more times and sent follow ups and received no further communication. I understand people are busy, but at least some feedback and a response can be provided to someone who spent a good amount of time trying to interview with your company.
