First call was with a HR talent acquisition employee, which led to a second call with the hiring manager. Both interviewers were pleasant and professional. I then received an email from the HR employee later in the day on a Friday asking to connect the following week. There was no mention of the reason for the request, so that left me hanging over a weekend. I received another email on the following Monday setting up a call to "discuss feedback from the hiring manager". After looking at other posts on this site concerning the DK interview process that mention receiving emails like I received, it means they were moving on with another candidate. That said, I find it unprofessional and just plain not right not to just come out and say "we're moving on" in the initial email, and/or provide feedback in that email v. leaving a candidate in-the-dark over any length of time.
