I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ENABL (Denmark) (Sofia, Sofia (city)) in Feb 2024
Interview
Probably the most disappointing interview I’ve ever had.
1st stage – a short call with the recruiter (10 minutes).
2nd stage – Zoom call with the recruiter and the team leader. The questions I found strange:
- Do you have dependents or people with disabilities under your care?
3rd stage – technical questions. Not too much things related to my specialty (finite element analysis, material resistance), but, for example, I had to decode the steel marking by code, or there were questions about welding joint designations.
They said I was a good fit. Two weeks later, they wrote that I had performed very well, but due to budget issues, they had to freeze the position for an indefinite period. I’ve never encountered such unprofessionalism before. What’s the problem with saying that I’m not a good fit or that they found someone better.
