      Application

I interviewed at EY (Portland, OR)

      Interview

This applocation and so-calles interview process had to be the worst, disjointed, infuriating, confusing, degrading, and terrible representation of EY's reputation. The Talent Team really needs to evaluate their email and virtual interview strategy. I applied somewhere back in May (it is not June) and received the courtesy "we received your application" stock email. Weeks go by and NOTHING. Then, weeks later, I was invited to participate in the interview process via email; HOWEVER, none...and I do mean none of the links included in the email worked. The provided number to get assistance takes you to a phone number that doesn't really help you and provides 3 options: one that tells you no one is available even though it is during their stated business hours and the other that drops you into a voicemail box. I dug around on some forums to find an email address I could use, so I emailed them the interview email and then requested assistance. Crickets again. After another lengthy wait, I was re-invited to do the virtual interview, which resulted in another "thanks" email. More time passes, I receive an email to confirm details I ALREADY included multiple times in my application and as part of the interview. Only to receive a rejection email today. Not only was this process NOT efficient, the significant delays leads me as a potential employee to think that the company doesn't value the hiring process and negative reputation that is set with such a deflating process. Shame in you, EY! Shame on you!
