I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Boston, MA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied and got interviewed for the Emerging Leaders Program. The first round was a short video recorded interview with fairly straightforward behavioral questions. The second round was two 1:1 behavioral interviews.
Applied on school's career services website. Invited to an on-campus interview, and a pre-dinner about two weeks later. Recruiters and current employees were at the pre-dinner. All of them were super chill, and all wanted to know about you. Interview lasted for about 30mins. It was conversational, recruiter asked questions about resume, and why EY/my school.
Invited back to a second round interview. Had mainly behavioral questions.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EY (Seattle, WA) in May 2014
Interview
Applied through my school's career services website: Resume, transcripts, cover letter. Invited to round 1 of interviews shortly (about a week) after the application period ended. First round of interviews was 30 minutes featured several behavioral based interview questions, but also getting to know the interviewer/firm in more depth. This interview was with a senior member of the firm. 1 week later, was called in for a second round of interviews that would occur about a month later. The second round of interviews lasted the better portion of a day and included an office tour, lunch, and two 30 minute interviews with other senior members of the firm. Fewer behavioral based questions were asked in these interviews. The focus was much more on conversations about the firm and accounting in general. About 1 week later, received a call that I was accepted to the program.
