The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at EY in Nov 2014
Interview
Worked off of an internal referral to a recruiter who set me up with two phone interviews, one with a staff and one with a senior manager. After the phone interviews I was brought in for an office visit. I was taken to lunch by a few advisory staff members and was able to discuss the day to day job tasks. After lunch I had 3 interviews, one with a manager, one with a senior manager who conducted a 45 minute case study and the final with a partner.
All were very laid back interviews, mostly conversational and questions about my resume, desires to work at EY and what I am wanting out of my career. Overall positive experience and an offer was extended within a few days.
I applied through university. I interviewed at EY (Houston, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
They took us out to dinner the night before the interview. Go into the office the next day and see a short presentation about what is FSO/ structured finance. Then you go to 3 interviews, where you're guided around by an employee. You do the interviews in glass offices. Last interview is a 2 page case. They wanted a SWOT analysis and just general what would you do. Extremely easy and nothing to be afraid of. The interviews were incredibly chill. They really just want to get to know your personality. Left and they called me 3 hours later extending an offer. They said it usually takes a few days to 2 weeks so I was pleasantly surprised.
