I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at EY (London, England) in Aug 2010
Interview
Applied directLY online for a unique scheme training IT professionals (with some financial services background) into IT Audit / Assurance /Advisory.
About 3 weeks later had a call from HR that my CV was interesting and a week later I was sat in front of a Senior Manager talking about my experience! That meeting lasted 45 minutes and dispelled my initial outlook of big 4 firms only being profit driven. The senior manager's friendly and open approach is what convinced my EY would be for me.
Needless to say I then had a second interview with a Director who was tougher in his questioning but also quite open and honest about his intentions for the growth he envisaged for his department and where I would fit in. I was offered the role on the day with the meeting being scheduled for 1 hour but taking about 40 minutes.
Overall good experience. 2 rounds of interview. Got to know results in 1 day. Smooth process. Interview was scheduled online. Three interviewers were present. Covered technical questions and skills i know.
the application process is starting from looking in the LinkedIn. After that, they refer to the EY website. From this you can see the requirement for the job applicant. Depends on the role whether the company expect quite experience on organization and academic. The most important they put a highlight is being active on organization which they know how social you are.
One round of interview. During the interview, there were mostly behavioural questions, with some industry-specific terms or concepts tested, and a segment for you to present your research based on the task given.
