The office is in a bad neighborhood off 18th street in Antioch. The door is locked and you have to be buzzed to get in. They explained that journalism is now all about clicks. They're so short-handed they only have two reporters to cover an area with more than 200,000 people. A crack ho was sitting on the curb next to the driveway as I left.

Interview
Publisher, Publisher's daughter & General Mgr were present. Very laid back and conversational. We already knew each other from networking and the fact I have been in the business for many years.I knew I had a lot to offer the employer, so I kept touching on the points of what I knew that would be beneficial for their company, i.e. How I was able to get clients to pay on time, and, listing the companies that I already had a good relationship with. Their hope was that I would bring the business with me, which I did successfully.

Because I've been in the business so many years they wanted information about competitors. I was able to answer that, plus, give them inside information of the pros & cons of their competitors. In addition, because I was so motivated to come for them, I was able to make promises of increased revenue.
