I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Seneca, SC) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied for 3 BOA positions online. My sister knew a recruiter so he attached his name to my resume. Then the BOA screener called me and set up an appointment for a phone interview. The phone interview took about twenty minutes. A lot of "tell me a time when..." type of questions. Then I applied for another BOA position that just recently came open and I was referred to another BOA screener. She then called me and asked me one question..."based on the videos that you have watched about BOA what is your impression of this job?" basically just a question to see if I knew what I was applying for and how I felt about the job. So then she sent my information to the financial advisor and he called me two hours later to set up a face to face interview two days later. Just had that interview today and he asked basically the same exact questions as the phone interview. It was very relaxed and chit-chatty to get to know each other. He's hoping to hire someone the week before Christmas so hopefully I'll hear back from the BOA screener in about three weeks letting me know if I got it or not.
If you got those past experience/behavioral/think on your feet type of questions down then you'll be fine. It's definitely not an easy interview but you must prepare.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Describe to me a time when you had to work by yourself. How did you handle the situation? What actions did you take?
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.

Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
