I applied online. I interviewed at Edward Jones in Jul 2022
Interview
The interview process is exactly word for word what the other reviews below said. In fact I was able to study for my interview using Glassdoor’s peoples’s reviews. Study for this interview!
The interview process was 5 weeks. I did the pre recorded video interview, then a phone interview with HR, then in person interview 1 1/2 hours long, then assessment. Then the big disappointment of not getting the offer. I kept passing to the next step. I hit it off with the FA. I have a clean record inside and out. I felt like I was being interviewed for some CIA job but it’s only a $40/50,000 a year job. Don’t think you’re getting this job until you’re hired. I thought I had nailed it and didn’t get the offer.
Also, if you get the job, you’re told upfront that you and your spouse are required to transfer your stock portfolio to EJ.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was your least favorite job? What was something at your previous job where you implemented change? How were you innovative at your previous job?
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.

Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
