I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2023
Interview
Interviewer was nearly fifteen minutes late to the thirty minute interview. In that time I did troubleshooting and sent an email because I didn't know she was going to be late. I stayed on, and when she arrived, the interview was very rushed (because there wasn't enough time, I assume). She said she sent me a message that she was running late, but I did not receive one.

Question 1
I gave a mock lesson and was asked if I had any questions. The feedback I received was positive.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview is done with their online virtual classroom. The interviewer pulled up a power point and after 5 mins told me the pay was 12 per hour. He said because I didn't have a teaching certification or a master's that they could only pay me the bare minimum. Despite my 12 years experience in education. Since when do you need a teaching license and a masters to be a online tutor? How is that even ethical to have those standards for 12 per hour?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Florence, KY) in Aug 2016
Interview
I had to log on to the portal and I was able to log in at my appt. time. It was an audio only interview over the computer. It was not as clear as an over the phone interview. I was asked a few questions about myself and why I was interested in the job. I was explained the job synopsis. They asked if I had any questions. Then asked me more specific interview questions. My biggest concerns were the 6 1/2 hours training required before taking my first job. The training is unpaid. And the hourly wage is way too low for tutoring IMO.
