My interview process began with a standard scheduling outreach from the recruiting team, followed by a Microsoft Teams interview. The first round went smoothly overall, though I wasn’t aware in advance that the session would include a transcript/recording feature. I only noticed this near the end of the call when a notification appeared. When I asked, the recruiter explained its purpose, but the lack of prior notice felt a bit uncomfortable.
The interview itself felt very structured, with a strong reliance on scripted situational questions. While I understand the need for consistency, the interaction felt less conversational and more formal than I expected.
After the interview, I did not receive any follow-up communication. From my perspective, the absence of closure felt unprofessional and gave me the impression of being ghosted, which I personally see as a red flag. I also chose not to follow up, as I no longer felt the role was the right fit based on the experience.
