I applied for a senior finance position and was invited to an initial HR interview a month later. After that, I was told I’d meet the hiring manager, but the interview never happened. I followed up multiple times via email and phone, and eventually spoke with the HR rep, who apologised and promised to send a link for the next interview. That link never came. I sent another email asking if the role had been filled or put on hold: no response. Further calls went to voicemail. The lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing, especially for a senior-level role. If this is how the company treats candidates, I’d be cautious about what it says about their internal culture. The process lacked transparency and respect.
