The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Kernersville, NC) in Jul 2011
Interview
you had to come in for a sort observation and after I completed the sort observation the next day I applied. They contacted me two days later to come in for an interview which was on July 7th 2011. They said that they would call and let me know if I got the job. A month goes by and I don;t hear from them. Then a couples of days ago I get a call to come in for orientation. I had totally gave up on hearing from them. So I go in for orientation on monday August 15th 2011.
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
