The first interview, with Recruiting, was pretty typical. We had a great discussion and solid rapport. The interview with the hiring manager was remarkably unprofessional and highly disappointing. The hiring manager showed up five minutes later and never bothered to acknowledge it. The questions were all over the board, and during my questioning period the hiring manager answered in single word responses and refused to elaborate in any manner—then ended the interview without giving back the five minutes taken from me in the beginning. Incredibly disappointing experience.
