Ferovinum interview questions

Five stage interview process which includes onsite for the final stage. 1. Intro call with HR 2. Tech Screening with an Engineer - boring open ended frontend questions. 3. Technical round - Live pair programming with one Engineer. I had to implement new frontend feature within an existing base repo and answer relevant questions. Nothing fancy just calling a mock API and rendering data with some form submissions. 4. Technical round (System Design) - another Engineer asking multiple FE questions and some system design related questions. 5. Onsite Behavioural + Cultural Fit followed by Technical Round where I was again asked question on the same FE repo. These were TypeScript and React Questions. Nothing fancy just basic questions. Apart from the onsite Behavioural round, the entire interview process was completely dysfunctional and exhaustive. For the technical rounds, they were not prepared at all. They were behaving as if they are not interested and just throwing random React/Typescript fundamental questions which anyone with basic experience can answer. The requirements that I was given for final round was completely vague. I had to ask multiple times before I understood that they are actually asking TypeScript related question i.e. how to type the props which I answered eventually. It's a clear sign of an inexperienced Engineer that doesn't know how to take interviews and how to prepare questions. After the final round I was ghosted and I had to reach out the HR multiple times before I got the feedback that I have not been selected. Feedback I got was really shallow and unhelpful. At this point I am not surprised as you can see others have also mentioned similar experiences in their reviews which clearly shows that hiring team do not care. Fair warning to the applicants - avoid unless you are really desperate to get a job.
