I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Jacksonville, FL) in Feb 2015
Interview
They responded to my application within 13 hours. They required you to provide a lot of information on the application (Every place of residency & employment for the past 10 years) down to the very month you started & finished that job/move. So be ready to do your homework. After they reviewed my Resume, there were two phone interviews. The first was just a basic job expectations call and the second was the scenario questions. Next was the on-site interview, where you were given a tour of the building with a group of potential new hires and then each was taken separately into one-on-one interview rooms. Afterwards, the group was taken into a room where they had to take a multiple choice test to determine if you had the proper skills needed for the position. (Very easy, basically making sure you can walk and chew gum at the same time). After I left, I received a phone call the next day offering me the position. Very easy. Very Quick. Don't be afraid to ask the recruiter during the first phone interview what to expect for the second and face to face interview.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Boston, MA) in Nov 2025
Interview
Brief 13 minute phone call (interviewer showed up late). Interview was very rushed and unprofessional, interviewer cut me off multiple times and did not give me an opportunity to ask him any questions. Keep in mind I was recommended to him by a branch manager. Very disappointed by this first interview round! Besides the interviews extreme haste, the interview went well. Use STAR method and you'll be ok.
