Interview
The whole process took close to a month and half and around 5 rounds of interview process. Initial rounds went well and when it came to technical round, the panel doesnt know how to conduct the interview. Initially it looked liked a scenario based questions, later the panel members started discussing among themselves about their issues and started asking me for a possible solution without any proper context. It looked like I have worked for them for a couple of months and knows their database schemas and their platform properly. After that they said they want to test my SQL knowledge and sheduled for a 1 houra SQL technical interview. Surpringly, for this round they created an extraction of their production database. They said they want to know if i can work in such a situation. Though such a test is unheard of, i was ready for the challenge. The panel asked to extract an report out of the numerous tables in the database. I was able to do that(at times they were confused about the primary key of their tables when i asked them for joining the tables. There were so many columns for each table finding the primary key was difficult). After sometime, it came to a point that the tables have data discrepancies or they want to get data from a column which they were not able to identify. Panel members asked to scroll left and right, open different table mutliple times. After sometime they decided to conclude the interview and said will let me know their decision. After few days I requested them for an update. They responded that they were not able to take decision from the last round. I was totally surprised because the scheduled 1 hour interview round went on for 3 and half hours and after doing everything they had asked , still they couldnt take decision made me feel the technical round was a joke and they made me look like a fool. Now they want me to provide them with some past SQL projects to show my SQL knowledge. I was totally frustrated with process but i managed to gather some complex usecases and sample data and wrote solutions to show them my depth of sql knowledge. Shared the whole document with usecases and database for their evalution. After few days I again requested them for an update. The HR person responded that they hired a different candidate already. I was totally shocked to hear this. If they have hired somebody then why did they asked for a project . It was complete waste of time. They dont know how to test a candidate or conduct an interview or atleast be prepare for the interview process. Throughout the process they have never respected my time. They schedule an interview for 30 mins and the round goes on for hours. I hope no good talent should waste their career by joining this company because they dont know what to do and they will ruin the employee's career.

Interview
Began with a telephone interview. HR was tardy and quite had very little idea about the job.
Followed by a zoom panel interview with the hiring manager.
Got ghosted, as they felt no need to follow up or even say "No".
Seems to be a common practise.
