Interview
I went in for an open interview and was told to come back the following Monday. I was interviewed 2:2 by the manager and assistant manager in the mall's food court. I was asked about the store specifically - most favorite part, least favorite, area for improvement. There were a couple personality questions, but it was an easy, casual interview. They told me they'd call back the same day if accepted for a background check.
The background check took 2 weeks and then I was asked to come into orientation and new hire paperwork the next week.
It was an in-person interview. It was very easy, and a standard retail interview. lasted around 10 minutes. The manager asked some scenario questions but overall, the questions were pretty straightforward.
It was a casual group interview. I sat down with a manager and another girl who was applying. They just asked a few standard questions about us and our experience.
Interviewer did not seem very experienced. He was rushing the interview and only asked general questions such as where do you see yourself in 10 years… for an entry level job.
