I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Chevy Chase, MD)
Interview
Multiple technical interviews with coding and it was not too bad to do them. They were all virtual and with code pad like system. I could use any language that I wanted which was also a plus
Initial phone screen by recruiter and hiring manager. Both of them were very professional. Gave me a take home test that I completed on time. Got update from the recruiter that they are reviewing. Followed by a rejection email after couple weeks.
Recruiter scheduled a call with the hiring manager -> loop contained 3 rounds, DSA, System Design and Behavioral. Everything went smooth and the DSA was a hard question where i implemented the segmented trees
Screening -> Recruiter Call -> 2 LC style questions -> Sys Design & Behavioral
Completely unprofessional behavior from the recruiters. They ghosted me, after they set the wrong expectations for the interviews. Not worth your time to work for such a company.
