I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gaya Simulations in Mar 2026
Interview
Had a short call with the recruiter where we talked a bit about the usual stuff. During this call, I also received the salary offer.
Next, I have received the art test, which I think was pretty difficult, especially for a junior artist. Also, you have about 3 days to complete it, and I think that's way to short for what you are required to do.
Speaking with past applicants, I have found out that the asset you have to model and texture during the art test is different for each applicant, so that's a bit strange. Usually, a company uses the same art test for all it's applicants for the same position. :)
I have declined the offer, as it was way below than what I'm currently making. Even for a junior artist, it's still way to low. You could have a bigger income working in a cafe or something like that. Or you could apply for other studios that pay almost double, even for a junior artist. :)

Interview
The interview went very quickly. They immediately described the working conditions and gave me a test task. It was a little stressful, but I got through it. After its completion, there was already a discussion of the contract
