      IT SOX Compliance Manager Interview

      24 Sept 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Foster City, CA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Foster City, CA) in Oct 2016

      Interview

I met solely with the hiring manager (very small department). It was informal and the manager was outstanding. She was extremely candid and we had a very open discussion about the realities of the position and the job. She was an extreme exception at Gilead since she was one of the finest managers I have ever worked with anywhere in over 30 years of working in Silicon Valley. Before I completed my assignment she went out on disability due to stress and what I strongly suspect was ultimately stress-induced illness.
