I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Girls Not Brides (London, England)
Interview
I was invited to one interview, as well as to complete an assignment. There were two senior managers on the panel, as well as an HR team member. The interview was overall a positive experience. However, I found the task to be a significant amount of (unpaid) work in a short space of time, and unfair for those candidates like myself with caring responsibilities.

Question 1
From what I recall, they asked about a situation involving working in coalitions with both large and small actors, and any tensions or power imbalances that arose and how I dealt with them. They also asked what I would find most challenging in the role, what I would need most support on.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Girls Not Brides (London, England) in May 2024
Interview
It was an in-person interview with a three-person panel in the organisation's office in London, UK. From the moment I walked in, the panel members were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, immediately putting me at ease.
Their questions were thoughtful, allowing me the opportunity to share my experiences and ideas comfortably. The conversation flowed naturally, feeling more like a collaborative discussion than a formal interview, and they seemed genuinely interested in my responses.
Each panel member brought a different perspective, and they took the time to explain their own roles and the company’s goals, which helped me gain a clear picture of the organisation’s culture and direction. The atmosphere was relaxed yet professional, and I left feeling confident that this is a supportive environment with a team that values open communication.
Overall, it was an encouraging and enjoyable experience.

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Girls Not Brides (London, England)
Interview
3 stage process with competency based questions, quite repetitive with little opportunity to discuss the actual role or experience.
Panel interview for 2 stages followed by a written test for the 3 stage.
Management seem inexperienced in interviewing, interview process felt cold, Formulaic and heavily scripted. As a result questions were accidentally repeated, forgotten or miscommunicated.
Aspects of the job offer kept changing after I’d accepted the role such as hybrid working expectations and salary!
Not the best impression!
