      Lead Researcher Interview

      27 Jan 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Antonio, TX
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2025

      Interview

It was a fairly lengthy and relevant process. I think it was well above average in terms of relevance. The recruiters was particularly helpful and actually followed up when she said she would (most do not). I think it could improve by doing reference checks. I don't feel like interviews were really a good way to prove competence. I find interviews awkward as an autistic person and always interview well below my actual ability. WTS the interviewers and questions were fair enough, though sometimes vague and without detail leave me with too many questions to imagine the details since I could be wrong. Also, I literally never design research or analysis plans on the spot, thinking about it is the only way to get an optimal outcome. Deep thinkers do not do well delivering immediate answers to deep questions. Overall, sadly, the process made me like the company more and want to work there, but I did not get an offer.
