The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Jun 2011
Interview
I applied online, and was contacted by HR via mail.In a week I had my first phone interview, then they have arranged the second phone interview. Questions were about my education, working experience, what would I do in certain situations. Recruiters were helpful, I feel stressed at the beginning, but they made everything possible to calm me down.
And then I went to the on-site interview, I had 3 interviews, 35-45 minutes each. Didn't get an offer.
first in person interview after online . First job interview . Interviewer was very kind, and encouraging. It covered both soft skills for communications, and technical questions related to the job requirement
Good and total 5 rounds there. Jam, technical interview, HR round and some more are there. It was good. Nice experience. It was a walk-in drive. More than 300 members attended
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Google (Paris)
Interview
2 phone screens (1 with recruitment and 1 with team member) and 2 on-site interviews ( with 2 managers). Roughly 30mins/interview.Everyone was very friendly, even though the questions were not easy. Lots of questions about experience, no question such as "what are your 3 qualities and weaknesses". Very interested in what I was doing outside of work.
