1:1 phone interview with another engineer: this went great! The engineer was interested in what I worked on, asked insightful questions, and seemed keen on hiring me. He could not provide much information about the job, however. In Person: Google payed for a flight and hotel, and the ~4 hour interview was 4 1:1s with different employees. None of them seemed to have any interest in hiring me. None of them would tell me anything about the open position. One of them didn't seem to have read my resume.
