I applied through university. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Jacksonville, FL)
Interview
My first and second interview were at the UNF campus. Audit managers and partner were super down to earth and approachable. GPA and academics are important to them but they seemed to be mostly interested in getting to know me and seeing how well my personality fits in the company.

Question 1
Surprisingly enough there was not a single interview question. My interview consisted of a regular conversation.
The first round of interviews was a group interview with four people, followed by an English essay. Neither the interview questions nor the essay topic had anything to do with auditing, and the interview questions seemed to be fixed; some interviewees even knew the questions beforehand. If that's true, I think it's unfair.
The interview process at Grant Thornton typically involves multiple stages, including an initial phone screening, a behavioral interview, and a technical or case-based assessment. Candidates may also meet with managers or partners. The process emphasizes cultural fit, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, often concluding with a final round or offer discussion
