I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton in Oct 2018
Interview
I spoke with a Grant Thornton representative at my university's career fair in early September and applied online via my university's career portal immediately after. My application for an interview was accepted and my interview was held in early October on my campus.
The night before the interview there was a reception for candidates at a local restaurant. This was a great opportunity to meet with current employees and learn more about their current work and just network in general. The university recruiter, who organized the event, was very friendly and made sure that you were able to speak with your interviewers at the reception. As such, I was able to form an initial connection that I think really helped in my interview the next day.
The actual interview was one hour long; the first 30 minutes were with one interviewer and the last 30 minutes were with another. Both of my interviewers were very senior-level people with GT and so it was little intimidating, but having met them the night before certainly helped me feel more comfortable during the interview. The questions were behavioral style, but the interview felt very conversational and the flow from one question to the next was natural.
The on-campus interview was the only interview they conducted (counting as both first and second round). About 2 weeks after the interview, I received a phone call from my recruiter informing me that I got the offer.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Austin, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview began with a screening process via a phone call with the recruiter. It then proceeded to two Zoom calls with a manager and then a partner. They asked a series on inquiry questions, nothing too technical. Just to prove I was a good fit for the position.

Interview
Very straightforward and no case interview. It was two back to back interviews. The people are nice and asked about experiences in college and coursework. Most of it was very conversational, and I heard back with an offer within the same week

Interview
Initial phone call interview then went into two video call interviews with managers. Extremely friendly and conversational. Questions primarily revolved around resume and past experiences. I didn't get any technical questions despite interviewing with people from my background. Overall, it was a very relaxed interview process.
