I went through four interview rounds for a position at Groupon:
1. Java coding round (easy to medium) – cleared.
2. Framework development round – cleared.
3. Managerial round – received feedback from HR that I seemed less enthusiastic. HR advised me to show more passion for Groupon and scheduled a fourth round.
4. Interview with the director – he primarily asked if I had any questions, and I eventually ran out.
After these rounds, HR informed me that my profile was on hold.
I suggest Groupon consider changing their interview process by conducting the director and managerial rounds first. This way, candidates can demonstrate their enthusiasm early on and not feel disheartened after investing significant effort into the technical rounds.
