Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe why and how you build your portfolio project
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Guidehouse (Thiruvananthapuram) in Jul 2021
Interview
Didn't have the online GD this time.
Initially it is the online test. Pretty easy to crack. Not proctored so that you can take the exam on your couch without worrying about weird camera angles.
(1)Technical round.
(2)Technical & Managerial round.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical: (Others had a lot of questions on Java, SQL, DBMS... etc.)
Q1: I had only one question on SQL - how to update an old price to new price?
Q2: About project?
Q3: What are your career goals?
Q4: Will you be able to put in your maximum effort to work in the company?
Q5: How do you deal with stress?
Technical & Managerial:
Q1: Delete and truncate difference in SQL
Q2: Why should I hire you? Why you prove yourself to be a team-player?
Q3: Inner Join in SQL?
I was able to answer all the questions in both 1st & 2nd round and thought I'd get in easily but I didn't receive any email regarding the result and I tried for a follow up by emailing the HR, but in vain.
I'd say the 1st round is easy to pass in this company but the second round is difficult. Even if you answer all the questions, you might not even get the job. On top of that, they don't even reply once you aren't selected.
Overall experience - Not good.
