I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Guidehouse
Interview
I had a very below average experience with my interview process. My initial screen went fine, but the individual conducting it seemed like she was reading a rehearsed list instead of having a genuine conversation about the opportunity and my interest and experience. I was willing to chalk it up to her experience level in the role. My first interview was then set up as a teams video call. The individual was 6 minutes late, didn’t join video, microwaved her lunch during our conversation and was responding to multiple IMs, and didn’t seem to have any experience talking with new candidates. I left it feeling like I knew very little about the firm. I declined a second interview because it did not seem professional or organized.
I interviewed at Guidehouse (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2026
Interview
3 stage process. Applied February and had screening. March in-person interview with Director, then later case study interview. You have 48 hours to analyze the business case, data set, and create slide presentation. Ghosted after case study.
Interview process was grueling. 3+ months, 7 interviews. Performed well, positive feedback, but job frozen due to DOGE. I wouldn't wish the process on anyone. I still wanted the job. But tedious, time-consuming, only to be told job frozen.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Guidehouse (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
Two parts. First part competency. Second part 'case study', selection based on prompts prompts prior to interview. Staff were late to interview start times and appeared disengaged. Additionally, as requested, provided times to schedule interview and didn't hear anything for weeks - I had to chase them. Essentially red flags - tells you everything about a company really.
