I applied online. I interviewed at HERO Marketing (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Not a pleasant experience. I was told from the start that I would be asked a fair amount of questions for 45 minutes and would have time at the end for my questions. I was asked question after question as two individuals took notes. It was a very a robotic and uncomfortable process. Other interviews I've had so far have been very open and free-flowing. An example of a positive experience has been a group setting where everyone gave me their pain points and listened to my feedback. In this interview I felt that they cared more about the "process of an interview" rather than learning about how the individual truly works/ticks. Needless to say I was glad when it was over and left knowing I wouldn't want to work for this company. I think the right person for this position would be someone who is used to a strict management style/enviroment. Previous reviews posted were very accurate.

Question 1
Very old school questions.
1) Why should we hire you?
2) What makes you qualified for this position?
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HERO Marketing (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
I have to laugh about the other interview review here, and I'm guessing that person is quite young with entirely different expectations and a different mindset going in.
It's never wise to go into a company talking about things you want to change, or some sort of plan for them. You haven't worked there. You don't really know what's going on.
I've been in the work force for decades, and it's one of the best interview experiences I've had. Instead of a bunch of random questions, they had a list of pertinent questions. I was not restricted regarding questions, and asked them during and after their questions. And, I got to meet with both decision-makers at once, instead of them dragging me in over and over again.
And they were warm, caring people. And, I was told at the beginning that the CEO would be taking notes - someone had to. There was eye contact. There was warmth.
It was a great interview experience - I left it thinking, "I really want this job!"
I guess all things work out in the end - I was impressed and so were they - I got the job!
