Initially, I had a screening interview with a recruiter, followed by an onsite interview with three C-suite executives, HR, and a plant tour. Subsequently, I had two additional interviews with leadership. The final interview was with the hiring manager, which felt suboptimal as they seemed unenthusiastic and unfamiliar with my name, suggesting they had already decided on another candidate. Overall, the interviews went well, and the Hexpol employees I interacted with were highly engaging and helpful, with questions mostly relevant to the role. My main critique of the process is that, despite being a strong candidate, it felt like they had a preferred candidate in mind, yet I was still put through the full interview process. I reached the final round but was not selected.
