I applied online. I interviewed at Hand Global Solutions (Singapore) in Jan 2026
Interview
Applied to this role as it clearly marked as an entry-level role with a note stating "fresh graduates are welcome to apply." Unfortunately, the interview experience was a complete contradiction to that promise. The interviewer (Regional Sales Director) displayed a condescending tone and dismissive facial expressions from the outset, a bias that was palpably linked to my status as a new graduate. It became immediately clear that her expectations were misaligned with the "entry-level" description. She did not seem to welcome a fresh graduate at all.
The dynamic was very one-sided and passive-aggressive. While I was expected to answer a barrage of questions, my own attempts to ask substantive questions about the role were shut down with the curt reply, "the job description covers all" and her use of industry jargon to ask me questions that as a fresh graduate clearly don't have knowledge on.
An interview should be a two-way conversation based on mutual respect, especially for a role targeting new talent. This was the opposite. I believe I dodged a bullet by witnessing this leadership style beforehand. The company's recruitment message and the reality of its management are fundamentally at odds.
