I had a very disappointing interview experience with this startup. The process involved too many phases and repeated conversations, but there was never any real clarity about which role I was being considered for. It felt like they were trying to figure out where I might fit, while not even being sure themselves what they actually needed.
With 20 years of experience in the field, I expected a more structured and professional process. Instead, it came across as disorganized and uncertain. In the end, it took me just one interview elsewhere to secure a better position with a large, established organization. That contrast made it even clearer to me that this company did not seem to know what it was doing. Overall, it felt like a typical startup mess.

A total fiasco, the recruiter (from the company itself) seemed to be as others state not really interested in anything I had to say, and at times seemed distacted. A week later I followed up for feedback, and I was told to wait another week. Since then its been radio silence.
At any stage she was not interested in talking about the companies culture or requirements.
First interview with an external recruiter. Before the interview I got a notification that this interviewer will use AI to sum up the exchange. Well I really felt that the interviewer did not care about what I said but instead let the AI do the job. No questions about my previous experience nor my personal projects. No constructive exchange about the company goals nor what would be my job in it.
