The interview process for the Senior Signal Integrity Engineer position at HPE was very well-organized, transparent, and friendly, taking approximately three weeks from application to conclusion.
It consisted of three distinct rounds, each lasting between 30 minutes to an hour:
Phone Screen: This initial round was conducted by HR and focused on behavioral questions to understand my background and fit.
Technical Interview: This round involved team members and senior engineers. It was quite challenging, delving into technical questions, design concepts, and a case study. A notable question that stood out was regarding my experience with lab equipment and measurement.
Hiring Manager Interview: The final round was with the hiring manager, covering a mix of behavioral and further technical discussions, and providing insights into the role and team.
Communication throughout the entire process was timely and efficient. I received very helpful feedback, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a fair and thorough evaluation.
