I got a call from a recruiter friday asking if i'd like to meet at the same day at 5:45 for an interview (red flag #1). It was a for an event coordinator role, I offered to do the following week. I asked the recruiter 3x for the job description, via email, text and phone call. She didn't respond (red flag #2). I showed up to the interview unprepared. It was a group interview with 3 other people (red flag #3).
The entire interview was about training to "drive sales" for other companies and then to make your own team after you reached the four tiers of their office. The CEO would train people to do what he does (red flag #4). The recruiter told me it was commissioned based but not sales based and dodged my questioned about what a typical day looks like (red flag #5).
The terminology they liked using was "driving sales"... how is this not a sales role if its commissioned based?
